Adding a battery won’t reduce your Feed-in Tariff.
This is the question we get most, and the answer is the best part. Because your export is deemed (estimated at a flat 50% of generation), Ofgem pays you the same regardless of what actually leaves your house. Self-consume more, export less, your cheque stays identical.
There’s a simple notification to your FiT licensee when a battery is added. We handle that paperwork for you, so nothing about your existing agreement is put at risk.
